Why is Allies in Community® needed Now?
The Need: A time of disconnection –
Across the world, we see a steep rise in social isolation and polarization at work and in society. We are siloed in narrow groups and often alienated and fearful of those outside our groups. We are increasingly lonely and longing for meaningful connections: relationships where we are seen, heard and valued.
How did we get here? A range of issues have been identified such as economic and demographic shifts, impact of social media, generational and ideological differences, social infrastructure changes, etc.
Why Allies in Community®?
Answering the Call
The Allies in Community® process lays the foundation for inclusive social connection, providing tools, interactive exercises, and welcoming spaces for learning and deepening understanding. Participants develop skills, rapport, and confidence with each other --- making conversations across differences accessible and welcome.
Through Allies in Community®, participants identify common purpose and build relationships anchored in their shared humanity.
Allies in Community® builds trusting connections that foster a deeply-felt sense of belonging, commitment and ongoing engagement.
